Penguins Are Ready For Fall

Recently knitters around the world responded to a call to help penguins who were affected by an oil spill.

Just sit and allow your heart to be warmed. No penguin was left sweaterless.

This was too cute not to post after our recent blog about loving sweaters...loving those sweaters and
how cute are those penguins!

Summertime

http://www.kimberlysnyder.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/watermelon-slices.jpg

Here it is August and summer has finally arrived in the Northwest!   We are enjoying the sunshine and all the yummy local fruit that is available.  MO loves the local cherries, KJ loves blueberries, but nothing says summer to us more than watermelon.  Yum!

We would love to hear what your favorite summer fruit or food is.  Oh, how far can YOU spit those watermelon seeds!

Happy Summer!

Temperature is rising, what to wear to stay cool...

MO says...summer is all about a cute dress in a bright, fun color...don't forget the accessories...and KJ says...grab a pair of cute sandals, a purse, and you are ready to go!

One of our favorite things...a pink rose.  MO loves the color pink, KJ loves roses in any color.  My dad was able to grow beautiful roses, I am learning.  Sadly, my dad isn't alive to offer me his tips, but I think of him every time I see my roses.  MO loves tulips and sunflowers.  Do you have a favorite flower?  We'd love to know!
